Good Afternoon,
I hope that everyone is doing well and has been productive this week!! I wanted to provide an update for you about today and tomorrow:
· JV/Varsity Field Hockey game start times have changed today 9/29.
o Varsity game will start at 5:30pm.
o JV will start at 7pm (weather pending).
9/30 Football Game
· The All-County Music Night performance has been moved to 10/28 in THE JUNGLE!!
o Parents who purchased pre-paid tickets for tomorrow’s game needs to save that ticket and present them at the 10/28 game (they will be honored).
o Thank you to all music teachers for your support with this decision.
· We will still have our tailgate in front of LCMS tomorrow, starting at 5:30pm. We would love for you to come and spend time with our special guests from our elementary schools.
· Be on hand to recognize our awesome bus drivers (who take our players to and from away events) during the raising of our 12th Man Flag before tomorrow’s game.
Do not forget the following things happening tomorrow:
o Bone Marrow Registration Drive-this will start at 7pm in the stadium and paperwork will be made available to everyone tomorrow. You can also visit DKMS.ORG for more information on how to help save lives.
o Stand Up 2Cancer Event-when you enter the stadium, you will be given a poster where you can put the names of people who you are RISING UP for, who have battled with and or are dealing with cancer. We will have a moment of silence to honor those battling this disease and for those we have lost.
o Lion to Hokie 5k Run-information will be available for registration. This event will be held in honor of former football player/captain Kyle Anderson. His father, Glen Anderson will be on hand tomorrow and will address the Lion Nation after the 1st quarter.
We have much to be thankful for and let’s be sure to support these great causes!!
