Good Evening TeamLCPS and our proud supporters of ALL THINGS LC ATHLETICS,
I wanted to pass along some information regarding our partnership with Pixellot cameras through the NFHS network. This will allow games to be broadcast so our community has an opportunity to watch our teams participate this winter. Everything is a work in progress, so please be patient as we navigate through this process. Everyone has been so positive and supportive of our efforts to bring back LC Athletics this winter and that means the world to us. We are working on details for a great experience and I cannot wait to watch everything unfold.
Please remember that our plans are fluid and can change at any given moment and we will continue to pass information along to you as soon as we can, in order to keep everyone up-to-date and on the same page. As for this week, we will start the winter season with JV/Varsity Boys and Girls Basketball on 12/22/2020. We will play Orange County at 5/6:30 pm with the Boys on the road and the Girls at home. Please click the following link to access our new NFHS webpage, tailored specifically to LC Athletics. There is information about who we are playing and how to set up your account to access the games - https://www.nfhsnetwork.com/schools/louisa-county-high-school-mineral-va.
As a reminder, we will continue to stress the importance of smart decisions inside and outside of our facilities. We will continue to conduct daily temperature taking and administering health screening questions for all who enter our facilities. We will continue to ensure that face coverings are worn and deviation from our expectations will not be tolerated on any level. Our attention to detail has helped our school division successfully finish the 1st semester, and this was not by accident. A great deal of time and effort went into planning this process and we are proud of what our students, teachers, faculty, parents, and community members have sacrificed daily to make this a reality. We will continue to move forward and develop plans with safety at the forefront of our decisions!!
Please continue to look for updates on our website https://louisacounty.rschoolteams.com/.
