LC Athletics Reminder for 10/14 & 10/15

Good Evening TeamLCPS, this is Coach Stanley with a few reminders for you.  

• Tonight, we have multiple teams in action:  
  
  • Esports has Rocket League games that started at 4 pm this afternoon.  
    
  • Middle school football is playing at Walker-Grant and that game started at 4:30 pm.  
    
  • Middle school Volleyball has a game at King George and that started at 5 pm this evening.  
    
  • We also have our Field Hockey and Volleyball teams hosting Western Albemarle tonight.  
    
    • Field Hockey will begin at 5:30 and 7 pm and Volleyball at 5:30 and 6:30 pm.  
      
    • Field Hockey is having their Stand up to Cancer Game, where you can make donations to help raise awareness and fund research needed to help cure this disease.  
      
    • What a wonderful gesture by our kids and coaches and good luck tonight.  
      
  • Volleyball will celebrate senior night tonight before the start of the varsity game.  
    
  • Good luck to our wonderful seniors and let's come on out to support everyone in action this evening.  

• Do not forget that tomorrow night, Varsity Football will play at Western Albemarle, and kickoff is set for 7 pm in Crozet.  
  
  • This is the game of the year, as both teams are still undefeated in the Jefferson District and Western Albemarle holds the #1 seed in Region 4D.  
    
  • We need everyone to take The JUNGLE on the road to Western Albemarle tomorrow night to cheer on our Lions.  
    
  • THERE IS NO CAPACITY LIMIT AT TOMORROW'S GAME!!
  • Tickets must be purchased online through Ticket Spicket.com and you can keep the ticket on your smartphone or print the tickets off and bring them with you to be verified at their gate tomorrow night.

This game has major playoff implications and please do not forget that the Varsity Lions have not lost a district game in over 4 years.  Let's be there for Coach Patrick, his staff, and players and we know the Loonies will be in the house along with our Marching Lions and our Sideline Cheerleaders.  I cannot wait for this matchup that is already being talked about as the game of the year.
