- On Monday, LCMS Football will play in the conference championship in The JUNGLE at 3:30 pm. The cost is $6 and that same ticket can be used for both the middle school game and the JV Football game which is also on Monday in The JUNGLE at 6:30 pm and the JV Lions will take on Goochland.
- If the Lions win, they are in cruise control to compete in the JV Championship this Saturday at noon at Albemarle County High School.
- On Tuesday, the Cross Country Region 4D Championship will take place at Panorama Farms at 2 pm and tickets are $7.
- Varsity Volleyball will host Halifax in The DEN at 6:00 pm and the cost is also $7. With a win, the Varsity Volleyball Team will advance to the next round of the region playoffs and those details are to be determined.
- On Friday, Varsity Football will travel to Goochland for the regular-season finale. The Varsity Lions have a chance to tie as Jefferson District Champs with a win and it has been quite some time since the Lion Nation visited Goochland County. Kickoff is set for 7 pm and it is region playoff time. This game holds a lot of weight as far as our regional ranking. Tickets can be purchased at Ticket Spicket.com under Goochland County and the cost is $7.
- On Saturday, Region Theatre will take place at Western Albemarle and our Lions will perform at 10:30 am.
- Do not forget to check out the LCMS webpage and search athletics for information about winter tryouts.
- This week, we have 8th-grade basketball tryouts and LCMS Wrestling tryouts on Wednesday after school.
- On Thursday there will be LCMS Basketball callbacks after school as well as another day of LCMS Wrestling tryouts.
- JV and Varsity Sideline Cheer tryouts will be on Wednesday of this week after school.
- All other LCHS tryouts will take place the week of November 8th.
- You must have a VHSL Physical, Code of Conduct, and Covid Waiver Form signed in order to participate in tryouts. I hope that everyone has a great week.

Expectations at Indoor Events (including LCMSJV/Varsity Volleyball & LCMS Girls Basketball games), we have the following expectations in place:
Each player, coach, official, spectator, and event/staff member must perform a health screening prior to arrival at our venue.
Each player, coach, official, spectator, and event/staff member will have their temperatures checked upon entry to the facility.
All spectators must wear a mask and distance themselves in the bleachers 6ft from the next person or group of people from outside of their household.
Coaches must wear masks throughout and all players who are not actively in the game must wear masks as well.
FAILURE TO ADHERE TO THESE EXPECTATIONS MAY RESULT IN INDIVIDUALS OR GROUPS OF PEOPLE BEING ASKED TO LEAVE THE EVENT AND CAPACITY LIMITS BEING PLACED AT OUR FUTURE EVENTS.

Expectations at Outdoor Events (including Cross Country, JV/Varsity Field Hockey, and Football games):
Each player, coach, official, spectator, and event/staff member must perform a health screening prior to arrival at our venue.
Each player, coach, official, spectator, and event/staff member will have their temperatures checked upon entry to the facility.
Mask use at outdoor events:
Masks are required when you enter our outdoor facilities and when you are moving to and from the stands or other parts of the stadium.
All spectators, to the greatest extent possible, distance themselves at least 6ft from the next person or group of people from outside of their household.
IF YOU CANNOT MAINTAIN 6 FEET PHYSICAL DISTANCE FROM INDIVIDUALS OUTSIDE OF YOUR HOUSEHOLD, YOU MUST WEAR A MASK.
If you CAN maintain 6 feet physical distance from individuals outside of your household, MASKS ARE OPTIONAL.
