UPDATED LC Athletics Schedule - 08/15 through 08/20

Tuesday, 08/16

• Golf will travel to Lake Monticello to take on Fluvanna - 5:00 pm start.
• JV/Varsity Volleyball will scrimmage Patrick Henry of Ashland at 5:30/6:30 pm.

Thursday, 08/18

• Field Hockey will travel to Chancellor for a scrimmage - 5:00/6:00 pm start times.
• Golf will host Monticello at Cutalong Golf Course - 5:30 pm start time.
• Varsity Football will travel to Harrisonburg HS for a scrimmage at 7:00 pm.

As a reminder, there are no admission fees for scrimmages!!

Please note: This Thursday's Varsity Football contest is a scrimmage.  It will be played like a regular game, but I want to clarify that it is not a benefit game and that there will not be any admission fee to attend.  

More importantly, please see the attached document regarding our clear bag pilot that we will follow this fall.  

Guests attending any LCPS ticketed athletic events for the Fall 2022 season must adhere to these guidelines (all information is covered in the attached document for your records):

• Clear bags that allow the inside contents of the bag to easily be seen will be allowed at all events  –  regardless of size or bag style.

• This includes items such as clear backpacks, clear camera bags, clear purses, clear fanny packs, and clear computer bags.

• Clear bags could be subject to inspection if needed.

• Small non-clear clutch bags, which cannot exceed 4.5" x 6.5" in size, will be allowed inside our sporting venues.

• Any student-athlete that is a member of the hosting or visiting team, along with approved coaches/gameday staff and media members participating in ticketed events will be allowed to take their equipment bags into the sporting venue.

• Non-clear bags, non-clear backpacks, non-clear camera bags, non-clear purses, non-clear fanny packs, and non-clear computer bags will not be allowed inside our sporting venues.

• Exceptions will be made for individuals who have bags specifically for medical or childcare needs.




As we implement this policy, we also want to note that clear plastic bags will be provided to fans/spectators by LCHS Athletics upon request at no cost.

The JV & Varsity regular season will begin the week of 08/22/2022, so stay tuned for Ticket Spicket information and more.  Field Hockey, Golf, and Volleyball will be underway that week, not to mention the 1st Varsity Football game of the season in The JUNGLE under Friday Night Lights, right here in our stadium.  We will celebrate All-Fall Sports Night for our LCMS/JV/Varsity Teams, and we are less than 2 weeks away!!  Our seasons are here and it is time to get EXCITED about our student-athletes representing LC Athletics!!
